Denton, TX -- The Aggies headed into their second game of their Dallas double header weekend looking to maintain momentum against the Mean Green of North Texas.
After scoring the opening goal of the game, A&M was hard pressed to establish any kind of fluidity. The first half see-sawed back and forth and saw the Aggies head into halftime with a three goal lead, 8-5.
The second half was more of the same. The speed and hustle of North Texas seemed to fluster A&M especially on face-offs and ground ball situations. A high point for the Aggies was the play of sophomore goaltender Jason Jolly, who made numerous clutch saves for A&M down the stretch.
Despite a rocky second half, A&M was able to hold off North Texas and take home their second win of the season, 16-12. Ten Aggies tallied points during this game, led by senior Attack Billy Kettler with 3 goals 1 assist.
