College Station, TX -- Eight different Aggies were named for 2008 LSA All Conference awards for extraordinary contributions during the 2008 season. Senior attackman Will James took away 1st team attack for the third straight year as well as conference MVP. Senior midfielder Chris Deeke took away 1st team midfield for the first time after receiving selections in 2004 and 2005 as a 2nd team Midfielder. Junior Nick Reinsvold received his first All Conference selection as a 1st team defender. Sophomore phenom Steve Bouchard took 1st team attack after last year receiving 2nd team honors. Senior Joey Saladino was awarded 2nd team defense following an honorable mention in 2006. Sophomore Jason Jolly received 2nd team goalie and a co-defensive player of the year award following an honorable mention in 2007. Gracing the All-Conference awards for the first time were Seniors Alex Bouchard and Billy Kettler with 3rd team Midfield and Honorable Mention Attack respectively. In addition, Will James and Steve Bouchard were nominated for All-America awards. The Aggies received the highest number of honors with 8 Aggies taking 10 different awards. The Aggies will spend the next two weeks preparing for an LSA semi-final matchup in Texas Stadium May 2nd against the winner of Baylor vs. UNT.
